The project included the replacement of a structurally deficient and functionally obsolete three-span structure carrying U.S. Route 206 over Crusers Brook. The replacement structure is a two-span, three-sided, rigid frame concrete structure composed of two (2) 33-foot spans placed on a skew of 30 degrees to the roadway alignment. The project also included the extension of an existing box culvert, elimination of existing substandard roadway design elements, relocation of 13-kv and 69-kv overhead electric wires, relocation of a 16-inch steel gas main, and installation of bioretention swales.
The replacement structure provides improved safety and connectivity for the surrounding communities along the U.S. Route 206 corridor, both north and south of Crusers Brook.
